Isabella Schöll and Krisztina Szalai achieved the 3rd Prize of the Partnership of
Education (PIE) by the European Foundation of Immunological Societies (EFIS),
dedicated to the subject "Food for Thought" for their contribution "Why makes food allergic?"
in the Childrens´University in July 2006.
Regina Knittelfelder achieved the 3rd poster award at
the PhD Symposium of the Medical University Vienna in June 2006.
Kira Brämswig was awarded the

Isabella Schöll was awarded a Herta Firnberg Stipendium by the FWF.
Eva Untersmayr: Charlotte Bühler Stipendium by the FWF. Theodor
Billroth Prize of the Austrian medical Association. Her abstract "Gastric acid suppression supports sensitization to dietary
proteins and lowers threshold levels" was
scored among the 8 top abstracts of the European
Society of Dermatology Research (ESDR)-Meeting 2005 in Tübingen, Germany.
Angelika Riemer Graduation "sub
auspiciis presidentis" for a second time and Award of Distinction of the
Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture. Merit Award of the
ASCO and the Scholar in Training Award of the AACR. Wolfgang Denk Prize. Prize
of advancement of the fund of the city of Vienna for innovative
interdisciplinary cancer research.
Kira Brämswig achieved the 2nd Poster Prize at the Summer School of
Oncology, Medical University of Vienna.
Julia Wallmann achieved the Junior Member Association (JMA-) Poster
Prize of the EAACI at the WAC Congress in München.

Angelika Riemer achieved the AstraZeneca Scholar Award, at the 26th San
Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium, 3. - 6. Dezember 2003, San Antonio, Texas, for
her presentation "Vaccination with Trastuzumab mimotopes elicits antibodies
recognizing Her-2/neu".
Eva Untersmayr was the 2003 winner of the Pirquet Prize of the Austrian Society
of Allergology and Immunology with the publication "Antacid Medication Inhibits
Digestion of Dietary Proteins and Causes Food Allergy: A Fish Allergy Model in
Balb/c mice. Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology 2003; 112(3):616-23."
Angelika Riemer received the Scholar in Training Award of the American
Association of Cancer Research, at the 94th Annual Meeting, 11. - 14. Juli 2003,
in Washington DC, USA for her work "Generation of peptide mimics of the
Trastuzumab epitope on the oncogenic protein Her-2/neu for vaccine design".
Eva Untersmayr achieved the EAACI Junior Member Association Prize, at the
22nd Congress of the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, in
Paris 2003, with the poster "IgE formation to digestion-sensitive fish proteins
under antacid medication: A true food allergy model in Balb/c mice."
Isabella Schöll received the CRS- Prize at the Annual Meeting of the
Controlled Release Society German Chapter, in Munich, Germany, in April 2003
with her poster "Biodegradable PLGA particles for adjuvant-free few-shot therapy
of allergy".
Erika Ganglberger received the Henning
Löwenstein Award at the EAACI 2003, in Paris.
2002
Angelika Riemer, received for her sub auspiciis-Graduation the "Ehren- und
Förderungspreis der Ärztekammer für Wien", as well as the "Würdigungspreis der
Bundesministerin für Bildung, Wissenschaft und Kultur".
Angelika Riemer achieved the 1st Dissertation Award of the Austrian Society
of Dermatology and Venerology with her opus "Development of Mimotope Vaccine
against Malignant Melanoma".
Angelika Riemer received the EAACI Junior Member
Association Prize at the 21st Congress of the EAACI, 1. - 5. Juni 2002, in
Naples, Italy for her Poster "Induction of an Anti-Melanoma Immune Response by Immunization
with Mimotope Fusion Proteins".
Erika Ganglberger received the 2002
Pirquet Prize of the Austrian Society
of Allergology and Immunology for the work for "IgE mimotopes are safe for therapy
of type I allergy when presented as monovalent fusion proteins", published in
FASEB J. Sept 17, 2001,10.1096/fj.00-0888fje.
Elisabeth Förster-Waldl received the Allergology Poster Prize
at the Annual Meeting of the ÖGAI 2002, for "The major
